How to use the FORUMS

One of the benefits of being a "Full Member" of the Pace Car Registry is that you will have access to the "private side" of our FORUM. The FORUM contain various topics where you can review postings or create new ones to discuss topics of interest about your Corvette Pace Car. There is also a "public side" where more general topics can be discussed.

To use either side of this FORUM, you must first follow these steps to create a unique Userid for yourself on your first visit :

  • Select "FORUMS" from the menu tab.
  • On the top of the screen select "Register"
  • Complete the registration form. When you submit it, a welcome email will be sent to you. Follow the activation instructions included in the email. That's it! You are registered! You will need to keep your id and password since it is your private logon information (If you forget this, there is a selection on the login area where you request your id).

From this point on, you can access the FORUM by selecting it on the menu tab. Then click on Login, and enter your userid and password. You will still be able to view the FORUM boards, however you will NOT be able to reply or post a new topic without first logging in.

After you logon, to access the Members Only area, you will see a mesage "Password Protected Board" and be prompted to enter your password. This password is the same as the one you have received when you joined the Registry.

By registering, that will build our contact list to allow the Registry to send emails if needed to announce outages for maintenance, special notes, etc., as well as ensuring we know who is posting what items. It will also give you access to additional features not available to guest users such as definable avatar images, private messaging, emailing to fellow users, usergroup subscription, etc.

As always, the common rules apply to the use of this FORUM. No pornography, bad language, spamming, etc. The FORUM will be monitored and anyone found violating these rules will have their access removed. This includes registering to just post a link to your business, BLOGs, or other types of websites for personal gain that are not Corvette Pace car related.

Let's keep this a clean, fun FORUM where all Pace Car owners and enthusiasts can learn about the history of these fine cars, and enjoy sharing information among our members!
