Hello
Everyone!!! Im a relative newbie to the Corvette
addiction. I was inflicted with the bug
in August of 2005 when I found my current baby on EBay.
I rescued her from a gentleman that barely even drove
her in 10 years. As she sat for so long there were plenty
of bugs to work out. I started with a totally new paint
job and made her a one of a kind. I dont think
theres an 86 out there with her paint color. Daytona
Sunset Orange Metallic was only available for a couple
years before GM discontinued it. So I had to have it
and she spent a month and a half in the body shop. Ive
been excited about the new paint ever since. Ive
been through her replacing parts that have worn out
from 20 years of sitting and occasional driving. Shes
still a work in progress but one day maybe I can go
to Bloomington .
My,
86 pace car has won top 40 out of 500 cars at Silver
Springs Florida show in November of 2005. Ive
attended the C4/ZR1 Gathering, National Corvette Homecoming,
Woodward Dream Cruise, and a delightful trip to Niagara
Falls Ontario Canada and 3 trips to our favorite place
east of the Mississippi in Gatlinburg , TN. When Im
not driving with the top down in the Smoky Mountains
, I can be found at local eateries and cruising the
Florida Keys and hanging with the gang at the Florida
Keys Corvette Club.
My
business is a licensed firearms dealer and finishing
up my graduate studies in Criminal Justice. Along with
the firearms dealership I intend on working in the private
investigative and security field.
I
have picked up some experience in which Ive run
a car club in Florida dealing with Camaro and Firebirds
since 2001. After a split we are still active but not
with the numbers we had before, and since I am a corvette
owner, Ive focused more on learning everything
I can about my 86. If you have any questions give me
a shout through my email here and Ill try and
give you the best answer I can give. I hope to meet
you at the Pace Car Reunion in September 2007 at the
NCM.
