1) When I first saw the new 2007 Pace Cars at the Indy track during qualifying that year and got a picture of me standing by one and told my wife that someday I would like to own one of them. 

2) Joining the Pace Car Registry and going to every reunion since and being able to be invited to the Indy track twice now, especially for the Pace Car Reunion during the 100th Indy 500 Anniversary and driving around the track.  

3) We drive our Vette all over the U.S. and never get tired of showing it off and talking to people about it and all of the pictures taken of it on the road or parked and the thumbs up!

I've taken it to a few car shows and have received a few trophies which is a proud moment!  

We love showing and driving our Pace Car and we've owned it for about 9 years now.  It had 13,000 miles on it when we got it and has over 74,000 on it now so it's not a trailer queen!! 

I and my wife are happily retired for 8 years now.  I retired from trucking after 38 years and have been married for 56 yrs with 2 kids, 1 girl and 1 boy.  We also have 3 granddaughters and 1 grandson and a 3 year old great grandson.  

Oh yes I am also a proud U.S. Army veteran.
